Our cozy A-Frame cottage is perched atop beautiful Lookout Mountain.  Majestic views of the valley beckon from the balcony and decks.  The first floor bedroom has a luxurious queen Tempurpedic bed while the upstairs bedroom has a king bed and lovely private balcony. Both beds are topped with lush linens.  A large bathroom on the main floor is complete with washer and dryer.  The living room offers a sofa-sleeper perfect for the kids and the kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you need for a week or a weekend.  A sidewalk provides easy entry to the cottage for renters of all ages.

Sit back and enjoy the stunning views on the glider or enjoy a meal al fresco on the stone patio or out by the pool. For the adventuresome the cottage is within minutes of Little River Canyon National Preserve and DeSoto State Park with excellent hiking, biking and kayaking.  Dining and shopping are also minutes away in downtown Fort Payne.  Also, be sure not to miss historic Mentone just down Lookout Mountain Parkway.

Whether you enjoy winter skiing at one of the southernmost ski resorts, stunning Fall colors, Springtime waterfalls & wildflowers or Summers lounging by our pool, you will think of A Blessing Above Cottage as your home away from home year round!

Rental Terms for A Blessing Above Cottage

• Oct-April $119/night Mon-Thurs $129/night Fri-Sun

• May-September (Private in-ground pool) $129/night Mon-Thurs $139 Fri-Sun

• 2 night minimum

• Private 16 x 30 in-ground pool (open May  - September weather permitting)

• Must be 21 years of age or older to book

• 50% due at time of reservation; balance due one week prior to arrival

• No security deposit required - 11% lodging tax applies

• Maximum Occupancy is 6

Credit or debit cards accepted through PayPal. Checks or cash accepted. Early check in and late check-out may be available - determination may be made one day prior to arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Cancellations made 30 or more days prior to check-in date, cancellation fee $50.  Cancellations made 16-29 days prior to check-in date, cancellation fee is one night's rental charge.  Cancellations made 15 days or less prior to check-in date, automatic forfeiture of rental deposit. All refunds will be made via check only.

Check in is 4:00 PM (for night time check-ins, outside light will be on, lockbox on door)

Check out is at 12:00 noon (Guests please remove all trash to outside garbage can, and remove bed linens prior to check out - Thank You!)

  at time of reservation) vacuum, broom and mop located in the downstairs bedroom
  closet

Pool area will be locked during cold months (when locked please do not enter pool area)

Please No Smoking, No Pets (no exceptions). Smoking permitted outside only, please
 do not put cigarettes on the ground, decks or patios.
